Oshi Nori

I was here last summer with a local friend, and came back here again spontaneously when arriving from the airport. Vancouver is the best city for sushi. I paid 47 after tax and tip for a Pepsi, 6 piece Crispy Philadelphia, 2 pc Mushroom roll, and two other rolls whose names and ingredients I have all forgotten. I was hungry. It is a great way to pass the time before checking into my accommodation.

Delicious sushi options — we tried the basic set along with a few others, and everything was top-notch. The staff were amazing, and the ambiance was calm and relaxing. We really enjoyed watching the chefs’ skills and the process of making the rolls — it added a fun, engaging touch to the meal. Dining across a shared table was a new experience and felt a bit awkward at first, but overall, I’d definitely come back!

Randomly found on google maps and decided to try it out since I had never been. I can tell you straight away was not disappointed, very welcoming staff. I cannot recommend enough going for the happy hour from 2-5, drinks and food have a great price and it was neat seeing the food being made right in front of you. My favourite items were the toro-uni and the truffle avocado handrolls and the aburi salmon oshi, my favourite drinks were the lychee martini and the cherry blossom.

I grabbed a seat right at the sushi bar, and it turned out to be the best choice — being able to watch the chefs work their magic up close was a highlight in itself. The fish was incredibly fresh — melt-in-your-mouth quality — and each dish was packed with flavor. I tried a variety of rolls and sashimi, and not one disappointed. You could truly taste the quality and attention to detail. The drink menu was just as impressive, with unique cocktails that complemented the food perfectly. I had a couple drinks recommended by the staff, and they nailed it. The atmosphere was lively but relaxed, with a great energy and friendly service throughout the night. Whether you’re a sushi lover or just looking for an authentic and interactive dining experience, this place checks all the boxes. I’ll definitely be returning — next time with friends so they can enjoy it too!

Visiting Vancouver for the first time and I was craving sushi. I decided to check out this place based on the google reviews and I was definitely not disappointed. The service was great but the sushi was just phenomenal! So incredibly fresh with such beautiful presentation too. Highly recommend. There are so many other places I was to check out but I definitely want to go back here again before I leave.

This is the place to be if you wanna get ripped off! Sushi is absolutely not worth the price we paid, but it was delicious. Some of the waitresses don’t know where to stand and as a result made it incredibly uncomfortable for us. All in all, though this review may not be the most flattering, I still had a great time! Won’t be back!

Amazing quality sushi! The hand rolls were perfectly sized and the way the restaurant is laid out allows every guest to enjoy the handiwork of the sushi chefs. Melis our server was very gracious and helpful, answering all our questions. Plus 1/2 off sake on Sundays! I will definitely be back.

The place is amazing – beautiful decor and a cozy atmosphere, perfect for chatting and enjoying a nice time. The food was delicious, you can really taste the quality in every dish. The music was not loud at all, just a chill and relaxing vibe that lets you talk comfortably. The service was excellent too – super friendly and attentive staff. We’ll definitely be coming back, we loved it!
